PROTOTYPING

PATTERN MAKING

The prototyping process begins in the pattern-making department, where the client’s specifications are translated into patterns and the first studies of the garment’s construction.

The department combines hands-on expertise with CAD technology to develop, adjust and refine each pattern, working precisely on volume, proportion and construction details.

PROTOTYPING

From pattern making, the project moves into prototyping, where hand cutting and garment-making expertise bring the design into physical form and allow its construction, fit and workmanship to be assessed.

Each prototype is made, evaluated and refined through close collaboration between pattern makers and sample makers. When a garment is intended for production, this stage also defines and fine-tunes the processes required for its industrialization.
